This application supports you in writing your posts to make your life easier! Choose Smileys, Mentions and Hashtags with a single finger gesture. Add links to websites (with bit.ly short URL), upload Photos (Twitpic), upload Videos (twitpic) and Maps (GPS or location of an address with Google Maps). Shorten your text with automatic abbreviations.
This Application lets you keep in one place all your messages from twitter, facebook, email, SMS and export them in a safe place.
Lithium Messenger uses cross-app Launching to deliver all the power of WebOS multitasking :
- To load tweets in your favorite twitter client (Support for Mobile Twitter, Bad Kitty, Twee, Tweedn TweetMe, Yak, Spaz Phnx beta, Carbon beta)
- To load your facebook statuses (Support for Facebook, facebook beta)
- To load your message in WebOS messaging or email apps.
This is the first release of Lithium Messenger, I’ll push great updates on this app, so stay tuned !
Pingback: RealTime - Questions: "Uploading Photos on facbook is really safe?"
So is this supposed to load my feeds or just be a board of shortcuts to do things in other apps?
At this moment lithium helps creating tweet and statuses to load in your favorite social nertworking client. But I’m planning to add feeds reader inside app in future versions. 🙂
Is there a support address for questions?
For support, it’s right here !
I like the app. I use ping.fm as well to update my fb and twitter. Anyway to update the app so that I can use the ping.fm app with it? Thanks
Hi,
Nice idea !
I’ll contact ping.fm developper to ask for an api. I’ll let you know if it is possible.
🙂
Ping.fm developper will update his app in the App Catalog to provide cross launching api. I’ve tested the next version and I’ll be able to add ping.fm support to Lithium Messenger
ping.fm is now available for support.
I was looking for an app that allows me to facebook chat. This does not allow me to do that.
There’s no mention of facebook chat in app description 🙂
I am having trouble changing the twitter client from spaz to ANYTHING else and saving. Cannot change background and save. Twitter is carbon. Not really supported?
to change twitter prefs, go to the top left corner menu and select preferences.
Carbon will be supported in the upcoming version.
Regards 🙂
I bought this primarily for the purpose of translating to other languages & then incorporating into messenging. It worked great b4 but this part of lithium has now ceased working. has this function been removed?
Lithium uses Google translator API. But this API is no longer supported by Google. I don’t know any other good translation API, do you ?
Thanks fo feedback
I am not seeing how to export my SMS messages. That is why I bought the app.
Hi, all messages must be witten with Lithium Messenger. Go to the bottom of the main screen, tap on the icon in front of “last message” lable. Then press “Export message list”
Best regards
Hello. I use Lithium Messenger, which I really like. Your app can pull up the Facebook app on the phone, however it won’t pull up Phnx and I have to use the web page. The phone app, com.davidstrack.phnx.free, is the app name. I believe that the name you look for has ‘beta’ in it. Is there a way that I can go about setting the default name to Phnx free? Thanks….
sure, I have pushed an update to the app catalog. Pending review….
